ABOUT US

The Goal of the Randolph Baptist Association is to equip, encourage, and inspire the Southern Baptist Churches of Randolph County and their members to fulfill the great commission in our community and world. RBA is the hub that connects our churches together to facilitate the work of the ministry that God has called us to do.

Jeff Joyce

Associational Mission Strategist
Jeff Joyce was raised in Randolph County and is a graduate of Eastern Randolph High School. He earned an Accounting degree from Western Carolina University, and worked for both Piedmont Aviation and Ramtex Inc. following graduation. While employed at Ramtex, Jeff answered the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and then moved his family to Chattanooga, TN to continue his training at Temple Baptist Seminary.

During his time in Chattanooga, Pastor Jeff was privileged to serve on staff at Highland Park Baptist Church. In 1998, he returned to pastor his home church in Randolph County NC, White’s Memorial Baptist, a positioned he held for over 21 years.

In June of 2019, Bro. Jeff assumed the leadership as Mission Strategist for the Randolph Baptist Association.

Jeff was happily married to his wonderful wife, Gaye Elmore Joyce, for 27 years until she lost her battle to breast cancer in March of 2017. He is the father to four sons, two of which are married and a grandson he absolutely adores.  In his free time he loves spending time with family or cheering on the UNC Tarheels basketball team.

To know Jeff Joyce is to be confronted with a living example of Jesus Christ, for he has an unquenchable desire for kingdom work and a great burden for revival to come to Randolph county.
