The Goal of the Randolph Baptist Association is to equip and encourage the Southern Baptist Churches of Randolph County and their members to fulfill the great commission in our community and world. RBA is the hub that intersects our churches together to facilitate the work of the ministry that God has called us to do.
Dr Richard D Crider
Interim Associational Missionary
Dr Crider was born and raised on a sharecropper farm in South Carolina, the second of six children, working in cotton, tobacco, truck crops, and grocery stores. He has been married to Dollie Frye for 50 years. Both of their children have earned masters degrees in their fields of study.
Dr Crider worked 7 years with Southern Bell after high school, 3 years in the Army, 40 years in ministry, 27 of those at Oakhurst Baptist Asheboro, NC. He graduated with honors and distinction from college and seminary.
He loves Bible Study and teaching the Word to those who are hungry to hear.
Dr Crider also loves music that glorifies God, especially his wife’s gift to sing.
Jill was born and raised in Asheboro, North Carolina to Bob and Ellen Wright. She is married to Tim Murray and they have one son, Camden.
After spending 20 years in the medical field as a MRI Technologist in Greensboro, Jill sought an opportunity to be closer to home and be able to enjoy raising a family. She has been a member of Beulah Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there since 1997. Aside from her love for God and her family and church, she enjoys time spent at the beach and cheering on her beloved Boston Red Sox.
Jill started on staff at Randolph Baptist Association in September, 2017. She is a member of the North Carolina Baptist Secretaries Association.
